Richard Castle

Richard is the founder and owner of General Collectibles.  He also produces the videos, designs the website, and writes the majority of articles.  A gamer at heart, Richard started playing collectible games at age 12 when Mirage was the latest Magic: the Gathering set.  He continued to play a variety of games (like D&D, Vampire: The Masquerade, and L5R) through middle and high school.  After graduating high school, Richard moved to Orlando, Florida to pursue college but decided to axe his education and go into the gaming industry by working for CoolStuffInc.  While working, Richard was introduced to even more games like board games and miniatures.  But after a year at CoolStuffInc, Richard quit and moved back home to Cincinnati, Ohio to continue his education.  Although Richard quit CoolStuffInc, he still works and visits them at gaming conventions (like Origins and Gencon) over the summer.

In 2010 Richard completed his AAS Degree in Electronic Media from the University of Cincinnati and immediately went to the field of video.  It wasn't until GenCon 2010 when he got the idea to start General Collectibles from the CEO-Owner of CoolStuffInc.  After GenCon, he immediately started working on his idea.  Now in 2011 General Collectibles has its website and is starting to release content.

Jonathan Beach

Jonathan, or JB, is an old best friend of Richard since middle school.  They both played MTG, D&D, and many other games together throughout their school years.  But after high school, JB joined the military while Richard moved to Florida.  Now that JB has retired and Richard is back home, they both work together to bring out the latest content on the things they love.

JB currently works for Canon in the Printing Department.  With an array of talents, he stars as the host of General Collectibles while filling in the positions of writer and site editor.  JB is also known as a Film Noir star in his latest short film Greed.  That is why you see the funny picture of him.  Hehe.

Together, JB and Richard has made countless projects that always turn out to be great.  And that is why General Collectibles will be another addition to their stillar resume!
