Zombie Dice

If you like zombies and dice then I am sure you'll like this game!  Made by Steve Jackson Games, Zombie Dice contains 13 dice, a dice cup, and a 1 page game manual.  I bought the game at Yottaquest for under $15.00 including tax.  When I got home it took us under 15 minutes to understand the rules and we started playing.





In the game you are supposed to represent a zombie.  Your goal is to score the most points by the end of the game.  On your turn roll 3 dice drawn randomly from the cup.

There are 3 icons you can land on: a brain, footprints, and shotgun.  If you land on a brain you set that die aside.  When you choose to pass your turn you count each brain set aside as 1 point.  But if you land on a shotgun then count it as 1 hit and return that die to the cup.  At 3 hits you must forfeit your turn and lose all brains that were set aside.   If there is a footprints return the die to the cup and nothing happens.

There are 3 distinct colors on each dice.  Each color has a different amount of shotguns you can roll on.  Red has the highest chance to followed by yellow then green.  The game ends when the first player scores 13 points.  But each player will still get play their final turn.

Overall, I think Zombie Dice is a great game.  It is simple, portable, and quick to play.  You can play this game with any age group as long as they aren't afraid of zombies.  But if they are then make fun of them because the only zombie you see in the game is on the cup.  I like the price tag since most games cost you around $50.00.  But this can be bought under $15.00!  Hopefully this review helps you know more about what you get out of Zombie Dice.
